Children's book dummy
The Don Freeman Grant is announced! I decided to polish a children's book project I've been working on during a class at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Here's one of my first sketches: Josephine realizes that in Paris everything looks just like her lost scarf: bleu, blanc, rouge - blue, white and red. This will be a difficult search...

Here's my submission to the Tomie de Paola Award, announced by the SCBWI. I chose to illustrate a passage of Mark Twain's "The adventures of Tom Sawyer". This year all the participants were supposed to submit black and white artwork only.

Comic for children
Hi everyone! Over the last weeks I've been working on some illustrations for a comic for children. Here's what I came up with: Above is the cover illustration, below are close-ups to show different moods of the main character, happiness and sadness. The story plays a long time ago in Latin America.

Siso's letter paper for children

Last year I went to the Early Bird lifestyle trade fair in Hamburg. I saw so many beautiful designs on greeting cards and stationery items and felt inspired to create some designs as well. After I uploaded one of them it actually became the most visited post... So here it is again: siso's letter paper for children!
